Field visits are an important part of my commitment to insure that the Client's desires are met, and at the same time, catching up with the contractor on feasible construction practices.
Conceptual Models:
Sometime the need arises for the use of a Conceptual Model. The use of a Conceptual Model will help the Owners or the Design Review Committee to easily visualize the projects design features far easier than a rendering. In gated communities or design oriented cities, the Conceptual Model has been used to strengthen the quick approval of many projects.
In commercial projects, the Conceptual Model has been an excellent tool used for the Investors, as well as a marketing tool for the leasing of spaces.
Field visits and discussions with the Contractor is of the utmost importance to me. It's one thing to sit, design and draw a project, but the input from the Contractor helps me to provide the correct information and the correct detailing.
Contractors are constantly frustrated with plans that are either incomplete or they have difficulty making sense of what the plans show.
My plans are geared to make the Contractors job simple...
BUT IF THERES A PROBLEM - I'll be there that same day to answer questions.
